The Approach
Before design, before copy, before any visual decision, the content had to be structured. That single constraint determined everything that followed.
The audit surfaced the core problem: no established relationship between KOIS the institution and the funds it manages. Resolving that hierarchy came first. The institution leads. The funds follow. For an LP evaluating a fund manager, this is the correct order, they are backing the manager before they back any individual mandate.
Qoyn wrote all copy from scratch. No source material to work from. Every section, investment philosophy, fund descriptions, team positioning, Origins to Outcomes, was built ground up. The visual language and imagery followed the same logic: both were developed from zero, with no existing brand guidelines to reference. A significant number of image directions were reviewed and rejected before photography was produced that reflected healthcare, education, and climate
outcomes rather than capital and infrastructure.Three rounds of refinement ran across all of it. Each round addressed one question: is every statement on the site saying exactly what it needs to say, to the right person, with the right precision.

The site launched. The Insights section is actively in use. The KOIS team publishes and updates independently, no external resource required.

What the site now does is establish KOIS clearly, as an institution, as a fund manager with a defined philosophy, and as a firm whose track record justifies the scale of what it is building. That required every component to be built from zero. It is the kind of engagement that requires understanding what a firm like KOIS needs to communicate, not just how to build a website.
Next projects.
